Kate Moss

Kate Moss’ 90s style was less glamorous and more aligned with the grunge-minimalism that was popular back then. Her outfits were simple and overall 'effortless'. She popularized the style 'heroin chic'. This style was characterized by pale skin, dark under eye circles, very slim body, pronounced facial features, and stringy messy-looking hair.

Naomi Campbell

One of the original supermodels who always maintained a very glamorous and extravagant style on and off the runways and red carpets. She was the muse of many iconic fashion designers such as Gianni Versace, Azzedine Alaïa and Marc Jacobs.

Drew Barrymore

The actress’ style was mainly grunge-oriented, as she always wore a dark red shade of lipstick and dark clothing pieces and accessories. She was labeled a “red carpet rule-breaker” by the press and the media, as a lot of the times she would appear at movie premieres and important events dressed in jeans and a plain t-shirt, holding a cigarette in her hand. She became the face of the brand “Guess” in 1993 and did a campaign for “Miu Miu” two years later in 1995.

Princess Diana

Princess Diana expressed herself through her style in many ways wearing dresses, suits, extravagant jewelry, statement bags and accessories, sometimes even breaking the conservative royal etiquette rules.

The main reason to why Princess Diana became such an influential figure & icon in the fashion world was because she knew how to communicate with her clothing. For example, when visiting children’s hospitals, she would sometimes wear chunky jewelry so that kids could play with it, and she never wore hats, because she said she couldn’t cuddle a child in a hat.

The Christian Dior bag ‘’Lady Dior” was named after her. Because of that, the bag became a legendary symbol of the brand. In 1995, when this bag appeared for the first time, was on the arm of Lady Diana, on a trip to Paris. Before that the bag did not have a name.
